Babylon
- March 14-June 2, 2008
For the first time
assembling works from all over the world, this exhibition seeks to reconcile
Babylon’s history with its legend. It explores the various stages in the
foundation of the ancient city and the extent of its influence, as well as the
way in which the Babylonian myth grew out of its historical reality.
Louise
Bourgeois Exhibition - Feb 27 to June
2, 2008 - Center Georges Pompidou. Louise Bourgeois was born in 1911
in Paris and in 1938 imigrated to the US. As an artist and sculptor,
her work is deeply involved in the investigation of her own psyche and
relation to objects through strong intuition. It is difficult to
directly link her work to other artists because she is extremely original in
much of her work.

takes place in the ideal 13th-century setting of the Rocca Borromeo. This
year's programme involves eight Sundays, each featuring a different theme,
including Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.
Dressed in spectacular medieval costumes, young and old
alike revive the magnificent feats of horsemen, princes and heroes of eras
gone by. An exhibition of 13th-century frescoes and a botany display
conclude this edition. A must-see for the entire family.
