Babylon - March 14-June 2, 2008
For the first time assembling works from all over the world, this exhibition seeks to reconcile Babylon’s history with its legend. It explores the various stages in the foundation of the ancient city and the extent of its influence, as well as the way in which the Babylonian myth grew out of its historical reality.

Louise Bourgeois Exhibition - Feb 27 to June 2, 2008 - Center Georges Pompidou.  Louise Bourgeois was born in 1911 in Paris and in 1938 imigrated to the US.  As an artist and sculptor, her work is deeply involved in the investigation of her own psyche and relation to objects through strong intuition.  It is difficult to directly link her work to other artists because she is extremely original in much of her work. This year's programme involves eight Sundays, each featuring a different theme, including Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Dressed in spectacular medieval costumes, young and old alike revive the magnificent feats of horsemen, princes and heroes of eras gone by. Venetian Fortifications Open Day The numerous fascinating 16th and 17th-century fortifications around Venice are open to the public on the first Sunday of every month. International Horse Show - Rome - May 2008 The International Horse Show at Piazza di Siena is still one of the most important and exciting events of its kind in the field of equestrian sports, and a must for Romans and visitors alike. Held on Piazza di Siena, in Villa Borghese. Show jumping is the only sport hosted in this beautiful public park in the heart of Rome. Switzerland in May   Bern Jazz Festival World-class live jazz can be heard in Bern thanks to the International Jazz Festival. The first festival took place in 1976, and it has been thrilling jazz fans every year since. The Bern International Jazz Festival will take place from March until May, 2008. Zurich - Christopher Street Day  - Gay Parade and Events May 31st, 2008 - The event from and for gay people will once again take place in June.
